Happy New Year! 2013 was one crazy and hectic year and I expect no less from 2014. This is the year that I am committing myself to design work and I am looking forward to sharing all of it with you! I have a lot of new and exciting things in store for this year so stay tuned :D.
To kick it off I'd like to share a logo that I had the opportunity to work on for my good friend, Calli, over at Color & Cake Weddings. Calli started Color & Cake a few years ago and has found much success and growth in her photography since, so she decided that it was time for a little refresh in her branding. I couldn't have been more pleased to help!
Calli strives to create photographs that are natural, timeless, and enchanting. Working with her is fun and easy and her warm personality lets you be yourself so that your photographs reflect who you really are. We wanted to incorporate that fun, natural, and enchanting sense into her logo and I knew that the best way would be to hand draw every aspect of the logo, which is my favorite thing to do!
